Paula Nkandu-Haamaundu is an award-winning cybersecurity and policy leader with experience across government, corporate, and international sectors. She is currently a Cybersecurity Advisor at the African Union Commission, seconded by GIZ African Union, where she advises on cybersecurity governance and strategy.
Previously, she was the Information Security Manager at MTN Mobile Money Zambia and an ICT Security Officer at The Copperbelt University, where she contributed to national policy on cybersecurity and data protection. Paula also worked as an IT Security Specialist at a multinational bank. She has a Bachelor's in Computer Science and an MBA focusing on cybersecurity culture. Beyond her professional roles, she is a dedicated speaker, mentor and community builder, holding positions with organizations like When Females Lead.
