Maame Abena Gyamerah is a Foreign Service Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana. She has developed expertise in policy analysis, high-level technical briefings, and political and economic reporting across bilateral and multilateral contexts. In her current role, she supports strategic planning and performance management for Ghana’s Diplomatic Missions abroad. Previously, she served at the Embassy of Ghana in Belgium and the Mission to the European Union (EU) and the Organisation for African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), where she was the Expert on South-South Cooperation and Sustainability, and managed bilateral economic cooperation with Belgium and Luxembourg, as well as engagements with the European Investment Bank and intra-OACPS projects. Maame Abena holds a BA in Political Science and French and an MA in International Relations from the University of Ghana. Before joining the Foreign Service, she gained diverse experience as an educator, health research field worker, export administrator, and market analyst.
