Juan Camilo Jiménez Garcés is Response Director at World Central Kitchen (WCK), a global humanitarian organization. A Colombian and Honduran national based in Mexico City, he has directed large-scale food relief operations across Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His experience includes leading responses to hurricanes in Mexico and the United States, floods in Brazil, earthquakes in Turkey and Myanmar, typhoons in the Indian Ocean, and the first ever maritime corridor delivering aid to Gaza. Previously, he worked with UNHCR, WFP, UNV, UNDP, and other UN agencies on protection, emergency response, and community outreach. Juan Camilo holds a Master’s in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response from the University of Manchester.
