Asmaa Guedira is passionate about gender, and very interested in the impact of social innovation enabled by digital technology and the shifts happening in our societies, especially in developing countries.

She believes that collaborative and creative communities offer new alternatives to social and economic development. Today she thrives in exploring the links between gender, digital feminism, the new economy and creative communities. She currently leads an edutainment program in MENA for the Womanity Foundation, is a connector for OuiShare and founded the Hyper-Gender project. Asmaa spent the last 3 years working with entrepreneurs, artists and social change networks around the world, especially in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region; writing, speaking, organizing and facilitating conferences, retreats and workshops. Since her "job-out" her focus has been on creating synergies in the areas of gender, digital collaborative innovation and social entrepreneurship between Europe and MENA. She has been working and consulting for various organizations involved in the MENA region, such as MitOst, SwitchMed, or the Womanity Foundation.

In 2015 she started living as a digital nomad, travelling between Berlin, Paris, Morocco, Brazil, the US, South East Asia and many MENA countries. Asmaa worked 3 years as a business consultant for PwC in Paris, She then changed life in 2013. to become freelance. She first joined the OuiShare network, as a core member, and more recently also collectives like Amanitas, Neotribes, Global Innovation Gathering, ou the "Crazy Toads". Asmaa grew up in Rabat in Morocco until I was 18. and then moved to France to study business and management, and spent 12 years studying and working between Lyon, New York, Istanbul and Paris, before starting a nomadic life in 2015.
