Anjum Sultana is an award-winning public affairs strategist. Over the last 15 years, she has focused on advancing rights for children and youth in Canada and globally. Anjum is the Director of Policy Advocacy, Partnerships, and Youth Leadership at Plan International Canada, a global development and humanitarian organization, where she leads Team PLAY (Policy, Leadership, Advocacy, and Youth), a team focused on promoting girls’ rights by influencing Canadian and global decision-makers such as parliamentarians, UN agencies, and multilateral institutions. Anjum is an active community leader serving as a YMCA of Greater Toronto Board Director, is a Fellow with the Public Policy Forum, and co-leads the Canadian W20 delegation. Anjum holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Toronto.
