Aliyyah Ahad

Aliyyah Ahad is the Director and EU Representative at the Government of Bermuda’s Brussels Office, a post she has held since October 2020. She previously worked for the Government of Bermuda in the Cabinet Office, Ombudsman’s Office, Human Rights Commission, London Office, and Bermuda Economic Development Corporation.  Ms. Ahad moved to Brussels in 2016 to work for the Migration Policy Institute, a policy thinktank, and has been working in Brussels in the field of European affairs and policy ever since. She holds a Master of Science in migration studies and Master of Public Policy, with distinction, from the University of Oxford, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
