The Emerging Markets Forum is organizing the 16th edition of its Global Meetings in the city of Marrakech in partnership with the Policy Center for the New South, on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the WB and the IMF, under the theme "Improving Governance to tackle Climate Change, Inequality and Global Fragmentation".
The Global Meeting provides an annual opportunity to engage in discussions about the challenges that drive the global economy from both economic and geopolitical perspectives. This is achieved through the sharing of expertise among officials, central bankers, academics, as well as representatives from the private sector and civil society. This year's edition will revolve around several key themes related to global economic prospects in the context of geopolitical fragmentation, sustainable development and climate change, as well as economic and social inequalities, with a focus on Africa.
