Juan Diego Mujica Filippi is a Peruvian lawyer and international expert in corporate governance, sustainability, and purpose-driven business models. He is currently Impact Law & Governance Lead at NATIVA, Italy’s pioneering Benefit Corporation and Certified B Corp, where he advises leadership teams and clients on aligning governance frameworks with measurable social and environmental impact.
Juan Diego has over a decade of experience promoting legal innovation in the fourth sector. He served as Academic Coordinator of a landmark three-year research project on purpose-driven companies in Ibero-America, sponsored by the Ibero-American General Secretariat, the United Nations Development Programme, and Canada’s International Development Research Centre. His work has influenced legislative reforms in six countries.
Previously, he was Corporate Responsibility Manager at the Universidad de Lima’s Sustainability Center, leading implementation of Peru’s Benefit Corporation law, and served as a public policy advisor at the Peruvian Ministry of Production.
Juan Diego holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, a Law degree from Universidad de Lima, and has pursued studies at the University of Ottawa and Charles University in Prague. He is a board member of the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers, committed to advancing regenerative governance worldwide.
