Gabriela Keseberg Dávalos is an independent senior consultant specializing in international politics, with expertise at the intersection of the Global South and the European Union. She is currently a Steering Committee member of the 1 for 8 Billion campaign, advocating for a woman UN Secretary-General.

Previously, Gabriela served as Director of Global Public Affairs at Southern Voice, a network of 70 think tanks from the Global South focused on sustainable development and UN-related topics, and was a Fellow of Practice, acting as an author and advisor. She also worked as Senior Foreign Policy Adviser to MEP Alexander Graf Lambsdorff and as Senior Communications Officer at the International Crisis Group.

A journalist and political scientist, Gabriela’s work has appeared in Die Zeit, El País, and The Washington Post. She is a UN Alliance of Civilizations Fellow (2012) and Marshall Memorial Fellow (2014). Fluent in German, English, and Spanish, Gabriela is a skilled speaker, moderator, and facilitator, experienced in leading high-level events, workshops, and conferences across multiple languages and regions.
