Devorah West

Devorah West is currently a Private Sector Engagement Advisor supporting the U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) Office of U.S.

Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) where she manages strategic engagement with the private sector in humanitarian assistance and disaster response activities. Prior to joining OFDA, Devorah worked as a Policy Advisor to the USAID Administrator. Previously, Devorah worked with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to bring a human-centered design approach to refugee camp design. She also worked at the Brookings Institution, where she provided research and analysis on the impacts of the changing global order on international organizations. Devorah holds an MA in International Policy Studies from Stanford University, and a BA in Political Science from Brown University.
