Aaron Joshua Pinto is a senior Canadian diplomat and Ontario’s Trade & Investment Representative in New York and the Northeastern United States. He previously served as a Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in New York, helping Canadian businesses scale globally and bring strategic investment back to Canada.
Aaron thrives at the nexus of policy, global affairs, and innovation. His work has taken him from post-Apartheid townships in South Africa and polling stations in Ukraine and Malawi to trade missions across Latin America and the Arctic. He has represented Canada at the OSCE, led Canada’s G7 youth negotiations, and co-founded a civic think tank.
A Queen’s Young Leader, Aaron holds a Master’s in Politics & Security from the OSCE Academy in Kyrgyzstan.
