Adoptée en 2000 par le Conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies, la Résolution 1325 reconnaissait pour la première fois l’impact différencié des conflits sur les femmes et les filles ainsi que leur rôle central dans la prévention, le règlement des conflits et la consolidation de la paix. Cette résolution n'appelle donc pas uniquement à une approche sexo-specifique de la gestion des conflits pour mieux répondre aux besoins particuliers des femmes et des filles, mais aussi à leur participation à tous les efforts pour maintenir et promouvoir la paix et la sécurité. Dans ce podcast, Farida Jaidi, diplomate, coach en développement personnel et professionnel, et coordinatrice du réseau des femmes marocaines médiatrices analyse le contexte dans lequel est cette résolution a été adoptée, ainsi que les efforts du Maroc afin de l'implémenter, et le rôle primordial de la médiation, instrument essentiel pour la prévention des conflits mais aussi pour la consolidation de la paix.
