In this role with Massolia, which means “responsibility” in Arabic, Amiar provides information, and promotes potential solutions to assist the Moroccan business community in adopting green technologies. He has extensive experience with public relations, business promotion, and corporate banking. Amiar holds a master’s degree in finance from the Toulouse Business School. He speaks six languages and has attended multiple international conferences and training courses in Europe, East Asia, and the United States.

After returning to Kenya in 2011, she hosted Cheche, the country’s most watched current affairs discussion show, on the leading television station, Citizen TV.  She was one of the moderators of Kenya’s first, live, televised presidential debates during the general election of 2013. Already having a USIU-A in Nairobi with a B.A in International Relations; an M. A. in Communication and Public Affairs from the American University in Washington, she is pursuing a M. A. in Communication and Non-Profit Management from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. She has a Personal Performance Diploma in coaching from The Coaching Academy in London.

She is currently the host of Cheche, a weekly, current affair talk show that airs on Kenya’s leading television station, Citizen TV. She is also the founder of Ramani Life Group, a charity that offers career guidance to students in low-income secondary schools. Her career in journalism started in 1997 and includes roles across radio and television with Reuters Television, the Voice of America and the BBC World Service. She moderates high level discussions at international conferences around the world and was one of the moderators of Kenya’s first, live, televised presidential debates. Amrani Youssef

Head of Mission, Royal Cabinet, Kingdom of Morocco

Prior to his designation in the Cabinet of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco in October 2013, Youssef Amrani was minister delegate for foreign affairs and cooperation, a post he held since January 2012. In November 2008, he was appointed secretary general at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, a position he held until his election as secretary general of the Mediterranean Union in July 2011.

Amrani has also served as an ambassador of Morocco to Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. From 2003 to 2008, he served as ambassador and director general of bilateral relations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. He was the head of office of the secretary of state for the Arab Maghreb Union from 1989 to 1992. Afterward, he was appointed as consul general in Barcelona. He holds a degree in economics from the University Mohammed V in Rabat and graduated from the Institute of Management in Boston.

Youssef Amrani is a Moroccan diplomat and politician. He has held the position of Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and is currently working in the Royal cabinet. He holds a degree in economics from Mohammed V University of Rabat (1978) and a degree in management from the Boston University School of Management. Youssef Amrani joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in 1978 as Secretary of Foreign Affairs.

Youssef Amrani worked as an attaché at the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (1981-1984), and later as an international civil servant at the Islamic Center for Trade Development of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (1984-1989).From 1989 to 1992, he served as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State for the Arab Maghreb Union at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1992 to 1996, he held the position of Consul General of Morocco in Barcelona. He has been Ambassador of His Majesty the King in several countries in the Americas, first in Colombia, Ecuador and Panama with residence in Bogotá (1996-1999), then in Chile (1999-2001) and Mexico, Guatemala , El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Belize with residence in Mexico City (2001-2003). From 2003 to 2008, he held the post of Ambassador, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. From May 2011 to January 2012, he held the post of Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean (UPM).

Amupolo Katrina

Katrina Amupolo is the founder of the Empowering Erongo Young Women Project. She is also the Business Development Coordinator for the Swakopmund Community Skills Development Centre in Namibia.

She has experience in empowering youth and women through entrepreneurship, skills training and mentorship. Her previous project experience ranges from the Old Mutual Women Micro-Business Project with the Centre for Enterprise Development in Namibia, the Aspire Namibia Women Project and the House of Women Summit. Katrina recently worked on programs aimed at developing girls with Girls Inc. of Long Island in New York through the Community Solutions Program. She holds an Entrepreneurship Honours Degree from the Namibia University of Science and Technology, and is currently studying for an MBA in Management Strategy.

Ana Palacio Ms.

Member of the Council of State of Spain

Ana Palacio is a member of the Consejo de Estado del Reino de España (Council of State), the supreme consultative body to the Spanish government on legislation and regulation and was appointed in 2014 to be coordinator for the EU Trans-European Transport Network Corridors.

She is also an international lawyer and the founding partner of Palacio y Asociados, a law firm with offices in Madrid, Brussels, and Washington, DC. She was the first woman to serve as the foreign affairs minister of Spain, serving in the government of Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar (2002-04). Palacio has also served as senior vice president and general counsel of the World Bank Group and Secretary General of the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) (2006-08).
