Countering Blended Criminal/Terrorist Threats

The Policy Center for the New South, the NATO Defense College Foundation and the NATO SPS programme (ECD) organize The High Level Advanced Research Workshop in Rome, 9-10th of December 2019 under the theme “Confronting criminal/terrorist threats: The reshaping of non-state actors.”

Through 3 sessions, participants will debate the strategies against the new generation of blended terrorism, trafficking and laundering in the cyber dimension and countering blended criminal/terrorist threats. The roundtable discussion will focus on the definition and the development of existing and possible integrations models of Counterterrorism and Countering Violent Extremism.

The Policy Center for the New South will contribute to the discussion and will be represented by its Senior Fellow Mr Rida Lyammouri.
