OCP Policy Center’s Leadership and Youth Initiatives program focuses on promoting a spirit of policy entrepreneurship, innovation, and global engagement. It strives to drive young leaders, with proven experience in leadership and with social or economic concern, to achieve their ambition and strengthen their skills, through structured leadership development programs and through discussions and debate with senior government, corporate and civic leaders.

These initiatives aim at bridging the generation gap, building a large interconnected community of leaders which will help strengthen Morocco’s global connections and actively engage the Moroccan Diaspora. It is also a platform gathering young leaders with different backgrounds and from different regions, to share their experiences and discuss their ideas and challenges.

Through a flagship Leadership program being currently discussed, The Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders and The Volunteer Program, OCP Policy Center is dedicated to connecting with rising leaders of future generations.

The German Marshall Fund of the United States and the OCP Policy Center are organizing the 2015 Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Program, a unique opportunity for rising leaders, taking place October 28-November 1, 2015, in Marrakesh, Morocco. The program will precede and include The Atlantic Dialogues Conference.

About The Atlantic Dialogues Conference

Launched in 2012, The Atlantic Dialogues is a leading annual forum for decision-makers to discuss global issues and partnerships, with an emphasis on the Southern Atlantic and transatlantic relations beyond North-North lines. This high-level gathering is a unique opportunity for leaders from the four continents of the Atlantic to debate the changing dynamics across the wider basin and help shape the transatlantic agenda.

The Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Program

The 2015 Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Program will bring together 40 rising leaders from around the Atlantic Basin. Over the two days of the program, sessions combine creative thinking, professional leadership training, peer-to-peer learning, and opportunities for networking and exchange. The emerging leaders will then be invited to participate in The Atlantic Dialogues conference. The organizers will provide selected emerging leaders the opportunity to contribute to panels during The Atlantic Dialogues based on their expertise and experience in order to foster real intergenerational dialogue. The 2015 Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Program will conclude with a closing session on November 1, 2015.
