Otaviano Canuto, Senior Fellow at Policy Center for the New South, will be speaking at the “Strategic Conversation – Africa’s insertion into the new geopolitical scene and the role it could play through industrialization and a growing labor force” during the online event “Brazil Focus on Africa 2021” organized by the Standard Bank Group.

The virtual conference will discuss how can the New Development Bank spur project investments in the post pandemic Africa as well as outline key trends shaping Africa’s allure. It will also focus on Brazil and Africa relations in the 21st Century and Brazil’s participation in Africa´s next growth vector for business. Further, Africa’s insertion into the new geopolitical scene and the role it could play through industrialization and a growing labor force will be examined.
